The gear under the hood We use high-purity quartz envelopes because they let the IR light pass through without blocking it. We also tune the filaments to match your specific voltage. This is a big deal because it means you probably won’t have to spend a fortune on new transformers. The best part? These are basically drop-in replacements. If you have aging resistive elements, you can swap them out, wire them into your current controllers, and you’re good to go. You’ll notice the difference immediately—heat transfer that used to take minutes now happens in seconds. One thing to watch out for Here’s the catch: these lamps put out a massive amount of heat. That puts a lot of pressure on your reflectors. If your reflectors are pitted, dirty, or oxidized, you’re basically throwing energy away.
